Khaligraph Jones wins ARIMMA award

The 2018 annual African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFIMMA) took place in Dallas Texas, US with top African acts battling for the coveted awards in different acts. For the very fast in Kenya and East Africa, Brian Ouko Omollo aka Khaligraph Jones set history as the fast Hip Hop Act from the region to scoop the Best Rap Act in Africa.
The ceremony which took on Sunday 7, at the House of blues in a star studded event aims at promoting and celebrating African music on a global platform. Present in the House from Kenya as well was Arrow Boy who had been nominated in the Best New Comer category.
Papa Dennis as well from Kenya won The Best Gospel Act.
Papa Jones the Real OG took to his instagram celebrating the win by thanking God.
“Glory be God”, he posted.
The rapper had been nominated in two categories the other being the Best Male East Africa which was won by Ugandan Eddy Kenzo.
