The real Kiki from Drake’s “In My Feelings” speaks out

The real Keke from Drake’s mega-hit “In My Feelings” is finally speaking out about her epic song shout-out — admitting that she was just as surprised as the rest of us to hear her name.

When Drake first asked if Keke loved him in his hit summer song, speculation over who she was became a bloodsport.

K’yanna Barber, a.k.a the “Kiki” named on Drake’s song “In My Feelings,” sat down for an interview with Power 106 FM to discuss her newfound fame.

But it turns out that 24-year-old Oakland resident K’yanna Barber, who has known the rapper for about three years, was the lady on Drake’s mind.

“I was kind of surprised by it myself when I heard it,” she said in an interview on Power 106 Los Angeles. “I was sitting in the living room with my son, my brother, my mom. We was just listening to the album like everybody else. You know, it’s Drake. He dropped new music. You listen to it.”

Kim Kardashian West was even embroiled in the mess, with many, including Snoop Dogg, insinuating that she might be the one Drake was calling out. (And if you remember, Kanye West was not happy about it)
