HOW TO SMELL GOOD ALL THE TIME.

Smelling good all the time will give you a boost of confidence even when you don’t feel as confident. Someone who always has a fresh scent is likely to be more respected, liked and pleasing to be around.
To keep yourself fresh always; cleanliness is the major first step. Taking a shower at least once every day is the only way to clean dirt, sweat and germs from your body.
The next step is to invest in quality perfumes, body lotions and shower gels that last long and are not harmful to your body.
Scented shower gels or soaps are absorbed in your body while you shower because your pores are usually open during this time. Some people often use a good quality shower gel without perfume and they smell good all day. It’s usually advisable to use a shower gel that is of the same scent as your perfume. This is to avoid mixing different scents that could result to a not so good scent.
Choose a scented moisturizer if the perfume you’re using is not strong enough, preferably a scent that compliments your perfume. If your perfume is strong and long lasting, it’s best to apply an unscented moisturizer.
Knowing perfume types will help you in choosing. Choose perfumes with more fragrance and less alcohol content, these ones last longer although they are expensive and harder to find. Perfumes with ‘Eau de Parfum’ and ‘Parfum’ fall under this category and can last up to 8 hours.
Perfumes with more alcohol content to fragrance are always cheaper and easier to find. They however last up to three hours maximum. This means having to re-use during the day as well as buy more at the end of the month. Perfumes branded “Eau de toilette” and “Eau de cologne” fall under this category.
Another make of perfumes is the refill and oil-based perfumes. Natural oil-based perfumes always last longer and are safer to use because they don’t have any chemicals in them. However, the refills that are sold in local shops are usually original perfumes diffused with oil. They may last more than 8 hours but are dangerous to use on your bare skin due to the mix of ingredients. Most people choose to use them on clothes but be careful; some oils leave stains and damage clothes.
After you have settled on the best perfume for you, you now have to know the best way to use it so that it can give you that lasting effect.
Spray your perfume as soon as you get out of the shower, it’s well absorbed in your body when your pores are open. Apply the perfume in targeted areas in our body that are likely to radiate heat and lock in the scent.
The best places to spray yourself are; the back of your ears, on your wrists, at the back of your knees, in your inner elbow and on your ankles. If you haven’t applied moisturizer, apply Vaseline or Arimis on these areas to contain the scent and make it last even longer.
Smell good, feel good!
