What To Carry On A Picnic Date

Written by on September 1, 2020

With bars closed in Kenya, people have to to get creative on ways that they can socialize and have fun. Picnics are on of those ways.

Parks and backyards have been highly embraced to host picnic dates. These can be romantic dates, friend date or even family hangouts.

If you plan on going this way, then there are some things that you shouldn’t leave behind.

Dry/cold food are the best to carry because they don’t need rewarming and won’t get soggy. Think, sandwiches, small burgers and pies

You can never go wrong with fruits. A couple of different fruits like bananas, apples and watermelons are not messy and are easy to quickly prepare.

Fancy bitings like grapes and strawberries are essential for that feel and look especially in pictures. You can also slice up carrots to go together with your kind of dip/sauce.

Snacks on snacks on snacks! Pack up crisps, chevda, chocolate and sweets. These will come in handy when you’re done with the food just to give people something to chew on.

Drinks; Carry water, juices and wine. Hydration is key when you’re seated out in the sun for long and of course we all need that bubbly to push the good vibes.

Apart from foodstuff remember to carry paper plate, party cups, utensils, corkscrew, cutting board and knife to ensure the food is well served and prepared.

For cleanliness carry serviettes, wet wipes, sanitizer, picnic blankets and a bluetooth speakers for the music.
