Amina Abdi named among 100 most influential young Africans

The 100 most influential young Africans have been announced and six Kenyans managed to secure a spot on the list.
Amina Abdi Rabar, Nice Nailantei, Xtiandela, Sandra Ochola, Scheaffer Okore and Raphael Obonyo were all recognized for contributions in their respective genres of work.
The list comprises of young men and women from 26 African nations. The prestigious award list, which was launched in 2016, highlights the efforts of activists, entertainers young politicians, athletes, entrepreneurs, philanthropists and digital influencers who portray a good image of our continent Mama Africa.
Here are the categories Kenyan honorees were awarded in
Raphael Obonyo – Personal development and academia category
Sandra Ochola – Personal development and academia category
Scheaffer Okore – Law and Governance category
Nice Nailantei Leng’ete – Social enterprise and Phil. Category
Amina Abdi Rabar – Media category
Xtian Dela – Lifestyle category

Jokate Mwegelo, Larry Madowo, Boniface Mwangi just to mention but a few, dod not appear on this year’s list after topping 2017’s.
Uganda’s Bobi Wine, Egypt’s Mohamed Salah, Nigeria’s Davido and Tanzania’s Ali Kiba are some notable honorees on the list.
Speaking about the publication, Prince Akpah, the founding President of Africa Youth Awards noted the current list features a record 90 new entrants and 43 females.
