Cardi B will stop at nothing to protect her daughter from the media even if it means rejecting a seven figure deal.
Speaking in an interview with Apple Music‘s Ebro Darden, the hit maker explained how she and husband Offset were not yet ready to share their daughter with the world.
Cardi – who recently posed nude to promote her new single money, will only be sharing baby Kulture’s snaps with the world on her terms, but for now the 26-year-old rapper has made it quite clear that she will be keeping her daughter away from the spotlight.
“Me and my husband… We just don’t wanna show our baby right now,” she said before revealing how she was offended after she was offered seven figures for baby pictures, “I got offered seven figures [for baby pictures], but I’m just not ready yet,”
Cardi also told the host that “Money” was pulled from a batch of bonus tracks that didn’t make the cut on her debut album Invasion of Privacy.
“The plan was always to drop a bonus, but I didn’t think I was gonna be so busy doing back and forth things after giving birth,” Cardi mentioned before adding that she might drop the songs early next year. “December or January. It’s songs that I think are really good that didn’t make the album.”
When asked about her recent DJ Snake collab “Taki Taki” with Ozuna and Selena Gomez, Cardi told Ebro that she recorded her verse for the song when she was nine months pregnant. “I love that record so much its not even funny,” Cardi said. “I did it literally when I was nine months pregnant.”
