INSIDE MWALIMU RACHEL’S CLASS
Written by Miss. Nerima on August 1, 2018
Mwalimu Rachel is most likely the most organized, hard working woman I have ever met. There is not a single time I have met Mwalimu and she isn’t working on something to build her brand or to enrich her existing working relationships. She is a force to reckon with, a very loud and fun one at that. Even when she’s extremely exhausted, Mwalimu will always greet you with a smile. I remember being in Mombasa with her for the #NRGTransit live broadcast at Hotel EnglishPoint and Safaricom Blaze Summit, then Hornbill for the #NRGTurnUpMacha . I was in awe of her NRG… she never seemed to run out or tire. And she loves what she does!
Mwalimu Rachel is intelligent, ebullient, vivacious, down to earth and lights up any room she enters… it’s difficult not to feel her warmth and presence when she walks into a room. And from what I learned while at Hotel EnglishPoint, she never forgets her friends from childhood. I wonder how many people always remember their childhood friends – not many, I suppose. When she’s working (off air and off stage), she’s authoritative and organized. Assertive too, because she is a woman who knows what she wants and puts in the time. As evidenced from her show #NRGTransit and her Instagram account, she does her research and prepares thoroughly before she gets behind the studio mic or on the stage.
If ever you need a conversationalist that will add to your existing knowledge as well as learn from you and appreciate you as a human being, even though it may not be one on one, sign up form Mwalimu’s class. She’s on air from 3 PM to 7 PM every weekday on #NRGTransit. And if you get to experience her presence on stage, be prepared to be blown away. Doesn’t matter what the occasion is; Mwalimu’s done her homework and has it on lock. Definitely an NRG MVP anyone and everyone (well, those who have the spirit) should have on their team.
