Jacque Maribe’s boyfriend arrested, linked to murder of Monica Kimani

Joe Irungu known popularly as Jowie Jowie has been arrested in connection with the death of Monica Kimani. According to reports, Irungu, who is a trained mercenary, was taking to Kilimani police Station for questioning after he reported to Langata Police station after he was shot.

Irungu is believed to have slit the throat of the 28-year-old woman in her Kilimani apartment on Wednesday night with the help of others.

Jowie, a known party animal, is apparently a trained mercenary for hire. He works in the UAE as a bouncer and sometimes works with politicians as a private security guard.

The trained mercenary was arrested as a suspect to the murder as police could not corroborate a shooting incident he reported at Lang’ata Police Station.

According to sources, Irungu claimed he had been attacked and shot at the gate of the apartment along Dennis Pritt road where Monica lived last week on Thursday.
