Jose Chameleone Divorced Amidst Battery Claims

Ugandan singer Joseph Mayanja, alias Jose Chameleone,  has been divorced by his wife of 10 years Daniella Atim.

Taking to social media over the weekend, the Valu Valu hitmaker seemed elated that his marriage with the mother of his five children, was no more.

“I failed, I was not the best I could be! I let you be Be Daniella. God bless you always. I can’t prove myself more than I have. You have been everything but enough is enough, I wish you the best,” Chameleone wrote in part.

The 39-year-old went ahead to reveal that he’s now single and was not searching for a replacement for Daniella.

SEVERE BEATINGS

Reports indicate that Daniella filed for divorce last year. She accused the singer of beating her severely whenever he came back home after a night out.

She revealed that Chameleone started abusing her physically in 2013 and at times, the latter would be so violent that she had to spend the night at her friends.

In her suit, Daniella said the beatings had really affected her health adding that she could not even sleep comfortably at night since she was worried that he might kill her.
