Joyce Maina pens emotional letter after her dad was found dead

On April 21^st, actress Joyce Maina sent an appeal to Kenyans to help find her missing dad after efforts to trace him bore no fruit.

Maina has penned down an emotional message honoring his late father James Maina. The decomposing body of businessman Maina was found in River Thiba at Urua village, Mbeere South Sub County five months after he went missing.

On social media, Joyce praised her dad for his kindness and always caring heart that has seen him help many while he was alive.

“I know biologically you only had two children. But there are so many people who called you father, mentor and friend. You touched so many lives and helped so many people and never expected anything in return. Heaven is lucky to have you. I hope your spirit of generosity lives in us until we meet again. Rip dad. I will always love you.” she said. 

54-year-old James disappeared without a trace on April 21 and his phone has been switched off.

Police last traced his phone along the Embu – Mwea road. His last phone call was to his wife the day he disappeared when he informed her that he will be home that evening.
