KAREN NYAMU SURPRISES RAPPER NGESH WITH MUSIC SPONSORSHIP

Nominated senator Karen Nyamu has surprised quite a number of people by offering to support Rapper Ngesh to push her music career.

Rapper Ngesh’s real name is Mary Ngesh widely known as Kaveve Kazoze has captured the hearts of many with her unique style and hilarious lyrics. Many Kenyans were impressed by the song and it gained quite a good publicity. Immediately after uploading the audio on youtube the song had many so many views and also youtube subscriptions.

The song was later been pulled down on Youtube though the reasons for pulling it down were not well known. Different brands came out to support her with hair makeover, face beat and a photoshoot. This song had a great impact as it showcased her talent and people were able to discover her talent. 

Unfortunately, despite the immense popularity and recognition she has gained from the song ‘’Rieng Genje’’ Mary Ngesh AKA Kaveve Kazoze candidly shared that fame alone has not helped increase her revenue.

She admitted in an interview to performing in clubs without compensation ‘’I’m broke. I have been performing in clubs for free. It is just for joy riding because i have not gotten any gigs or bookings’’ she revealed.

Later on, a fan captured her selling handbags in town and in a clip she expressed her determination to keep hustling. She stated that she does not have enough money for studio and that is when Karen Nyamu stepped up and promised to pay studio fees for her.

Karen Nyamu revealed on her instagram page that “Ngesh aambiwe bebe ya kanairo anamtafuta. This is the kind of talent we must not watch as it goes. Ngeshtex ni dem wa maform na Karenzo ni wakili wa form collabo itaweza sana.”

Yesterday she met Ngesh and they had a meeting in which she was so honoured to fund her first solo projects; audios and videos. 

The world would be a better place if we had people like Karen Nyamu supported talented artists who need a little help to launch their careers. This world needs more of these kind and generous souls!!
