KING KAKA TO SPEAK AT THIS YEAR’S GOALKEEPERS IN NEW YORK

Musician, King Kaka will this year be one of the speakers at Goalkeepers 2018.
Goalkeepers will take place on 25th to 26th September 2018 at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.

GoalKeepers was started last year by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The main aim of Goalkeepers to galvanize for action on the global goals.
Despite tremendous gains in eliminating poverty, inequality and disease,there is more that needs to be done to make the world a greater place. Goalkeepers ’18 happens at a time when world leaders are gathering at the UN for the UN General Assembly.
King Kaka will be speaking alongside notable figures like Bill Gates, Melinda Gates, Graca Machel, Ed Sheeran, Trisha Shetty, Aranya Johar, David Sengeh and many more. He was chosen to participate in this year’s Goalkeepers because of his Sanitary Bank Campaign that seeks to keep 100,000 girls in school. So far the campaign has reached 10,000 girls.
” I am so honoured i get to speak at Goalkeepers this year alongside so many great people. I am going to tell our story on the world stage.” he said.
Last year, Kenya was represented by Janet Mbugua and Larry Madowo. This year King Kaka and Adelle Onyango will be Kenya’s representatives.
