Hamisi Mohammed is the lucky winner of the Arsenal FC and WorldRemit “Future Stars” coaching programme that will see get an opportunity to attend an exclusive training programme with Arsenal Football Schools in London fully sponsored courtesy of online money transfer service WorldRemit. The Kenyan coach who trains a total of 120 children between the ages of 8-17 years at his Embul Bul Young Talents Soccer Academy in Ngong managed to beat five finalist from Africa emerging top.
Kaka as he is popularly known was among other selectees who were chosen by a panel from the EPL side Arsenal which included Simon McManus. Those who made to the shortlist of 25 individuals to the top five include Innocent Yeboah-Num from Ghana,Ahmed Ali from Somaliland, Titus Sanangurai who hails from Zimbabwe, Tersia Davids (the only woman on the list) from South Africa and Kenyan Hamisi Mohammed.
Hamisi garnered 35 per cent of the votes cast which had a voting period from September 28 to October 5 on future stars.worldremit.com The sponsors announce that Hamisi will be part of the training following his win.
