Veteran TV Journalist Julie Gichuru spent the better part of Monday evening interviewing one of the hottest actress in Hollywood.
Gichuru hosted actress Connie Nielsen for a one-on-one chat where she spoke on her developments in Kibera slum where she has been heavily involved in different projects.
Nielsen, who is 52 years old, has been in the movie industry for almost 35 years and is widely known for her roles in Wonder Woman, Justice League, Deep Blue Sea, The Devil’s Advocate and Gladiator.
Nielsen co-founded Human Needs Project in June 2010 for providing clean water and empowerment services to residents of Kibera, after filming “Lost in Africa” there. She also has her scholarship program for children in slums called “Road To Freedom Scholarships.”
The interview was held at Capital club in Westlands and saw a small audience attend and participate with questions. Gichuru streamed the interview on her social media pages.
