Phil Director reveals his biggest life lesson.

Phil Production founder Philip Karanja has shared lessons learned from his divorce from Kate Actress.

Speaking during an interview with CTA (Cleaning The Airwaves.) Phil shared that he does not blame anyone for his divorce.
“Divorce took me to a place of looking myself inwardly and understanding where I went wrong, where I fell short. Why did I miss this? What should I have worked on myself? What should I have improved? Never ever go on a blame game. In that period I talked to men and women who have gone through the same. “

Phil shared that interacting with other divorcees led him to make a vow to himself: he didn’t want to be nursing any bitterness from the experience years later.

“You talk to someone who has been divorced for like 5 years and the guy is still very bitter. I remember telling myself, 5 years from now I do not want to be this bitter at my ex-wife, I am not going to channel my anger and blame on her, I focus on myself, if you call yourself for a meeting you realize you f**ed up somewhere.”

In September 2023, the now ex-couple announced their divorce through a joint social media statement. They asked for privacy for the sake of their children.

“We came to a conclusion to end our marriage a long while ago and are separated. We sincerely request everyone to honour our wishes for privacy for us and our children,” they said.

Phil responded by saying that they remained as friends and business partners going forward.

“Hii ni mambo ya watu wawili but allow us to add you to the group chat kidogo so we can proceed with our lives bila story mob. Kate Actress and I remain as friends, co-parents and business partners,” he said

In April 2023, rumours began going around that the couple had called it quits. Kate left her fans and followers confused after she cleared pictures of Phil from her social media handles.

Later on, in an Instagram story, Kate Actress clarified that her marriage was doing just fine. Kate has since moved on and has introduced her new man to netizens.

They have on different occasions been spotted together on vacation.
