The Duke of Cambridge Prince William was in the country on Sunday 30 September where he met President Uhuru Kenya after visiting the British army training camp in Laikipia. He presented some gifts to school children at the Kinamba Community project.

The Prince who also champions for wildlife conservations held talk with the president on ways of ending the illegal wildlife trade.
“Held talks with Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, when he called on me at State House. Our discussions mainly focused on wildlife conservation,” read a tweet on the President’s account.
During the talks, it emerged that a two day illegal Wildlife Trade Conference is scheduled to take place in London from 10th to 11th of this month. The prince was accompanied by British High Commissioner to Kenya, Nic Hailey.
Prince William’s visit to Kenya marked the end of his seven-day tour in Africa where he visited Namibia and Tanzania. He was in the country in 2016 when he also met with President Kenyatta.
