7 ways you can workout at home when you can’t make it to the gym

Sometimes, the hustle and bustles just gets to us and we end up missing crucial appoints, including out routine workout.

Even if you don’t have the fancy equipment used in the gyms at home, you can still workout and continue to build the body you desire with simple at-home excises.

To make these exercises even more fun, you can blast high energy music from NRG Radio while you’re doing them. Some you can also do while watching TV.

Here are 7 great exercises that you can do at home without the need for any equipment:

  1. Walking/ running up and down the staircase.

If you have a flight of stairs, you can use this to tone up your legs. You can even carry a load while at it to increase the pressure of the workout.

  1. Push- Ups

These are probably not the most favorite exercise of many people, but while they can be hard to do, you can find easier ways to do them. You can modify intensity by changing hand placement.

  1. Squats 

These are wonderful exercises for your legs and buttocks.  You can even just try these by sitting and standing up again from a regular chair, if you’re finding them to be too difficult. 

  1. Dancing 

Dancing is a wonderful exercise, which is great for your heart.  Not only that, but it can lift your spirits as well, and give your overall feeling a boost.

  1. Light Weight Lifting

Get something light and us them eg a bag of flour or several bars of soap. You don’t need to have the expensive weights to do this.

  1. Jogging In Place 

If you don’t have the stairs flight just find space in the house and jog on the spot.

  1. Sit ups.
