K-pop singing sensation BTS have been relentlessly smashing records since they burst into the scene. And what better time for that than now when Asian and Latin influence is exponentially taking over America.

Their first entry into the mega chart was with Fake Love in 2018. They have previously established themselves as a force worth reckoning by being the first Asian act to surpass 5 billion streams on Spotify and the first Korean act to perform on SNL. Their latest release Boy With Luv has perpetuated their milestones even further. The Halsey-assisted catchy number racked up the numbers in typical Korean fashion but this time the BTS way-74 million views in just 24 hours! The lead single off of their upcoming album Map of the Soul:Persona is now the most viewed debut in YouTube history. This is no mean feat, seeing as they snatched the record from their K-pop counterparts                    Blackpink whose Kill This Love video racked up 100 million views in under 3 days!

K-pop has gained appeal the world over thanks to its indisputable catchy nature and in the case of BTS,infusion with English with a quest to penetrating audience in far-flung corners of the world. The latter has definitely worked out impeccably!
