Suffice to say that Champagne Papi’s winning streak is far from over. What to say about someone winning a record 12 accolades at an award show!
At the Billboard Music Awards last night,Drake majorly shimmered. The rapper was nominated for 17 categories and he snagged 12 of those. This brings all his BBMA wins to 27,the most in history,taking the record from Taylor Swift who previously held it with 23 billboard awards. Among the wins was the coveted Top Artist of the Year award.
Among other huge winners of the night were Mariah Carey who took home the Icon award,following in the footsteps of stars like Janet Jackson and Cher.
