Keri Hilson Has New Music Up Her Sleeves

If you have not been living under a rock,you know that Keri Hilson,in an IG post,promised new music back in  March. The very talented RnB crooner and songwriting genius has been on a musical hiatus for almost a decade. Her debut album ‘In a Perfect World’ came out in 2oo9,while her sophomore album came out later the next year. Riding high on the wave of smash hits like Energy and Pretty Girl Rock,she was the new music it-girl.That notwithstanding,Miss Keri went on a hiatus that she affirms was not supposed to last so long. It was heavily speculated that her disappearance could have been occasioned by her much publicised with Beyonce,after the latter appeared on the remix of Usher’s In The Club instead of Keri. Keri Hilson was initially wrote on the remix and was scheduled to feature in it too,but Usher’s producers chose Bey. A diss track ensued,and the rest is history.

Fast forward to 2019 and Keri seems and promises to have a lot up her sleeves. Summer is about over,and that means that her promised summer release date is not valid anymore,but cast all your doubts aside,at least for now. Keri Hilson took to IG today and promised she knows she is a little behind summer, but that it does not mean that music will not be underway.

”I don’t share much, but I’m working my ass off to get you this project. Turns out I’ll be a tad behind Summer, but we’re almost there!!,” she quipped.
