Remember when Adele gave a borderline seamless rendition of Nicki Minaj’s verse on Monster on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke? And nailed every single Nicki oomph, attitude,finger flip…the works?! If that was not proof that the British crooner is a huge Nicki supporter,we do not know what is. Just a few months ago,a video surfaced of the singer yet again rapping to Monster and as you would guess,she bodied every tad bit of it.

It is no doubt that the two musical barometers like each other,and what are the odds that this love is turned into a musical collaboration? Well,turns out very high! In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Nicki Minaj confirmed that there indeed is one heck of a duet with Adele underway,and that even the video has been shot already! Cue the applause,because this is bound to be an anthem. No more,no less.

Adele has been hard at work on her upcoming new album,and so has Nicki. If this is anything to go by, this collaboration could not have come at a better time. Their creative juices are at an all-time high right now,so the music will be anything but bland. Looks like Nicki’s retirement claims were as good as far-fetched.
