Tinashe’s Die A Little Bit Is One Heck Of A Comeback

After about a year away from the music scene, Neo-RnB singer Tinashe is back with a new electro pop-intensive number, Die A Little Bit,that features British rapper Ms Banks. Tinashe’s trademark breathy vocals take centrestage through the minimalist production. True to her triple-threat nature, she bodies every move flanked by a horde of dancers in a dingy room. Ms Banks,donning a cowboy hat,gives a great delivery too.  As the beat picks up,the song will gets even more upbeat,and the choreo akin to that of All Hands on Deck.

A few weeks ago,Tinashe began sharing cryptic teases of an upcoming project, Songs For You. As it turns out,this will be her first full-length LP since her departure from RCA Records. Her last album, Joyride came out last year. Its dismal performance prompted her exit from the label that notoriously inhibited her creative control. Her previous mixtapes prior to signing to the label have been hailed as her best work,so it is common knowledge that her former label came to no good.

Tinashe’s ability to write, sing and dance cannot be understated. This new release affirms she is here to stay,and who knows what the rest of the record has roosting deep under!
