Here’s The (Rather Flawed) 2020 Oscar Nominations List
Written by kingbeestar on January 14, 2020
The Oscar nominations came out yesterday and boy, have people had lots to say! This year’s nominations, albeit predictably, were laden with with controversial and questionable attributes that left a lot to be desired. A myriad snubs left tongue’s wagging. After her incredible performance portraying two major characters on Us,Lupita Nyong’o snagged no Oscar nod. Neither did Jennifer Lopez for her role on Hustlers,or Beyonce for her role on The Lion King. And that is only 3 of the tens of majorly pronounced snubs this year. Only male directors snagged the Director’s category in spite of a historic last year when great number of women directed reputable movies.
