Nigerian singer Burna Boy, will be performing during the 2024 Grammy’s.
The ‘City Boy’ crooner is set to take the stage at the 66th Grammy Awards, making history as the first African artiste to perform at the show, slated for February 4 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles
He joins artists such as American country music star Luke Combs and rapper Travis Scott who will also be performing during the event.
The exciting news was made on Monday Morning by the Recording Academy.
“Attention: African Giant @BurnaBoy will take the #GRAMMYs stage on Sunday, February 4th at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT on @CBS,” the Grammy organizers wrote on their X handle.

Other than being a performer, the singer snagged 4 nominations at the 2024 Grammys – Best African Music Performance for ‘City Boys,’ Best Melodic Rap Performance for ‘Sittin’ on Top of The World,’ Best Global Music Performance for ‘Alone’ and Best Global Album for ‘I Told Them.’
Other nominees at this year’s awards include RnB superstars SZA and Victoria Monét with 9 nominations and 7 nominations respectively.
Trevor Noah will be hosting the 2024 GRAMMY’s.
This will be the fourth time he is consecutively hosting the Grammy’s.
The 66th Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
