Embarambamba gets a second chance from MCSK.

Written by on March 7, 2024

Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) CEO Ezekiel Mutua and controversial gospel artist Chris Embarambamba have decided to put their differences aside.

Dr Ezekiel took to his Twitter page to share news of the two burying their hatchet after a public feud over Embarambamba’s provocative music.

Ezekiel Mutua decided to have a change of heart and give the pitiful musician a second chance terming it as everyone makes mistakes and deserves to be forgiven.

He added that Embaramba needed serious help, the musician and his lawyers took his words positively and promised to help him in his recovery journey.

Mutua shared a couple of photos of him and Emberambamba in the company of others.

The MCSK boss shared a series of photos taken in his office during a meeting with Embarambamba, accompanied by his lawyer, Danstan Omari, and Member of Parliament, Silvanus Osoro.

In one photo, Mutua is seen placing his hand on Embarambamba’s head—a symbolic gesture of blessing and reconciliation. His caption read:

Everyone deserves a second chance. Embarambamba needs help. Saul turned to Paul and so can Embarambamba.

Today, at the behest of the Majority Chief Whip Hon. Silvanus Osoro and Embarambamba’s legal team led by Wakili Danstan Omari, we have embarked on the journey to help Embarambamba reform.

I hope to God that this guy’s energy can be turned into something constructive.” Ezekiel Wrote.

Embarambamba, known for his different style and approach in his performances, had faced criticism for his latest music video titled ‘Niko Uchi’. The song, which was purportedly a gospel song, invited ridicule and controversy all over.

Mutua’s warm gesture towards the singer comes after he previously threatened to suspend him from the MCSK for his “indecent songs”.
