Nviiri The Storyteller leaves Sol Generation for greener pastures.

Nviiri The Storyteller has left people wondering after his sudden exit from the famous group Sol Generation. 

Sol Generation is a group that recognises and fosters Kenyan musicians. It was started by the iconic boy band group Sauti Sol.

Nviiri was one of the most notable musicians and he used to perform alongside Bensoul before his partner decided to leave the group in hopes of greener pastures.

His exit from the group comes weeks after their latest addition Mordecai Mwinyi.

The announcement of his decamping was made public on his Instagram pages with an official statement.

Part of the statement read;

“ It is with immense gratitude and excitement that we announce the culmination of a remarkable chapter in Nviri The Storyteller’s musical journey.

After five incredible years under the nurturing wing of Sol Generation Records, we bid farewell with hearts full of appreciation for the support, mentorship, and platform provided by the label and the visionary force behind it, Sauti Sol. Our time with Sol Generation records has been nothing short of transformative.”

He also thanked the Sol generation for the outstanding work they did in his career 

“To our friends at Sol Generation Records and Sauti Sol, we extend our deepest gratitude for the role you’ve played in shaping Nviiri’s journey thus far. Your belief in his talent and unwavering support have been the wind beneath his wings, propelling him to greater heights than ever imagined.

As we step boldly into the future, we invite you to join us on this exhilarating adventure, as we write the next chapter in the story of Nviiri The Storyteller.

Other than talking about his departure, Nviiri also introduced his new management team with Maisha Wirth as his new manager.
