No snakes escaped!! National Museum assures Kenyans.

The National Museums of Kenya has taken action to address rumours circulating that snakes had escaped from their enclosure due to heavy rains in the city.
These claims have created fear among some Kenyans, who have called upon the Museum management to provide clarification on the situation.
The park and aquarium management has been urged to address the public’s concerns.
National Museum in a statement quashed the reports that had alleged that reptiles were spotted prowling Kijabe Street, Kipande Road, Ojijo, and the Goan Gymkana area.
“This is to inform the public that at the National Museums of Kenya, the safety and Security of all our live exhibits are paramount. Each exhibit is securely housed in its appropriate enclosure, guaranteeing its well-being and preservation. We welcome you to explore our rich heritage with confidence at the National Museums of Kenya. “ ended the statement.
Meanwhile, heavy rainfall and strong winds will continue until Monday next week according to the Met Department.
