“It’s not for me!!” Vera Sidika says no to marriage.

Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika Mung’asia hinted that she may never marry again during a Q&A session with her fans on Instagram on Wednesday.

The 34-year-old beauty revealed that she tried to settle into marriage, but it didn’t work out for her.

She shared these thoughts while responding to the pressure of settling down like her fellow socialite, Zari Hassan, who officially married her partner Shakib Cham Lutaaya last year.

“You can’t settle down like Zarithebosslady. She found love and peace,” one fan wrote to Vera on Wednesday.

In response, the socialite, widely known for her curvy figure, clarified that she ended her marriage in 2023.

She congratulated Zari for successfully settling down but noted that such a step is impossible for her.

“Good for her. I tried. It’s not for me,” she said.

Zari and Shakib got married in a private ceremony in South Africa on October 3, 2023. They had been dating for over a year before tying the knot.

Vera also married her co-parent, Brown Mauzo, in October 2020 before confirming their separation last year. 

Surprising many, the drama-encircled socialite threw a lavish party to celebrate her divorce in September last year. 

Sidika posted pictures and videos on her Instagram page, showing her grand arrival at the event, and made a major announcement regarding the party.

Sidika, who was married to musician Brown Mauzo for three years and had two children together, informed her fans that she decided to throw a grand party to celebrate her divorce, calling marriage the biggest scam ever in her life.

“Divorce party coming up, marriage is a scam,” Sidika wrote on her Instagram story.

The mother of two—Asia Brown and Ice Brown—was seen stepping out of a fancy car at night, surrounded by bouncers, and escorted to the main hall where the party was held.
