Former comedian turned TV show host, digital content creator, and emcee, Dr. Ofweneke, has shared words of encouragement on his Instagram page for people who are going through a rough patch and feeling hopeless.

In his post, the father of 2 conveyed a message of hope, reminding his followers and netizens that there is always hope at the end of the tunnel, regardless of how bleak things may seem.

Ofweneke encouraged people to remember the hurdles they have overcome in life when facing tough times, emphasising that doing so can provide something to hold onto.

“Keep going, don’t quit,” started off the dating TV show host.

Ofweneke emphasised why giving up should not be an option.

He said, “You have come this far, and the difficult days will make way for happier days soon enough.”

To conclude, he highlighted that the tough situation is just another passing phase, and just like the seasons, it will come and go.

“Remember, nothing lasts. When you feel that you can’t get out of bed to face the world do not worry or panic. Better and brighter days are ahead…” the last of his post read.

His post comes in just 2 months after Ofweneke revealed he had been a month sober. The father of two recalled his struggles with alcoholism stating, “From consuming an average of 2 whiskey bottles a day to celebrating my first month of being sober today,”

Before revealing that tightening his relationship with God is what had helped him beat his thirst for alcohol and help his life get so much better.
