Nairobi Birdman awarded a house in Konza City.

Rodgers Oloo Magudha, popularly known as the Nairobi Birdman, has achieved a significant milestone by becoming a landowner in Nairobi. 

Known for his unique presence with two golden eagles and a crow perched on his shoulders and head, Birdman has captured the attention and affection of many Kenyans.

He received a plot of land in Konza City as a gift during a men’s mental health awareness walk organized by comedian Oga Obinna. 

This event highlighted Birdman’s remarkable connection with his birds and aimed to support his well-being by providing him with a stable home.

A real estate company recognized Birdman’s unique lifestyle and dedication to his birds, which led to the generous gift. 

The intention behind this gift is to help Birdman improve his living situation and move off the streets.

In addition to the land, Oga Obinna announced that he would contribute 10 iron sheets for the construction of Birdman’s new home.

Furthermore, Brenda Mora, a Member of the County Assembly (MCA) from Kisii County, pledged to donate an additional 10 iron sheets, further supporting Birdman’s journey toward building his house.

“He has been gifted a piece of land in Konza City. I will give you 10 iron sheets so that you can build your house. We also have an honourable from Kisii, Brenda Mora, who has promised to add 10 more iron sheets,” the father of 4 candidly stated

A week ago, Magudha appeared on national TV where he disclosed he lives on the streets near the National Archives along Tom Mboya Street. He noted the streets had been his home for years and that’s where he met and befriended the birds after rescuing them.

“Anyone who wants to find or help me can come to Tom Mboya Street, where I stay. I am having a hard time, especially with the cold and rain. I need help to find a place to stay,” the Birdman said.
