Brand influencer and entrepreneur Amira recently shared an open letter, which also serves as a prayer, expressing her hopes for her next marriage.
In the letter, she asks for the grace to accept her fate if she doesn’t find “the one” and ends up remaining single.
She posted the heartfelt letter on her Instagram page, accompanying it with a small photo of herself smiling broadly in the top left corner of the note.
Additionally, she shared Madison Ryann Ward’s classic hit song, “Mirror” along with the post.
“I am not rushing into marriage, but when the time comes, I pray that it will be a healthy one. I ask that you send me someone who is God-fearing, patient, stable, soft, and kind. I pray that every quality I ask for in my future partner, you bless me with as well, so that I can be the best version of myself when I finally meet him,” part of her letter read.
Amira emphasized the importance of being with a spiritually and emotionally mature man, acknowledging that she has made peace with the fact that her previous relationship didn’t work out as she had hoped.
“I want a marriage where you are the foundation that keeps us together. Someone I can pray with, laugh with, and even cry with. I am not angry about the past relationships that didn’t work out, especially those that I feel stripped me of my value and pride as a woman…”
Concluding the letter, the influencer added, “And find peace if I don’t find the one.” She captioned the post with “Amiinnn,” and included several clasped hands emojis.
Amira was previously married to businessman Jimal Rohosafi. They had a dramatic split after Jimal’s affair with socialite Amber Ray became a public spectacle, leading to a feud between Amira and Amber. Jimal and Amira share two sons. Jimal also has a daughter with his current girlfriend, Michelle Wangari.
