“I believe love is a scam.” – Nick Bigfish.

Written by on September 17, 2024

Nicki Bigfish, known for his candid opinions, recently shared his unconventional views on love, stating that he does not believe in it at all.

According to Bigfish, love is a fallacy and a scam, a stance he has firmly held after extensive observation and personal study.

During an interview with SPM Buzz, Bigfish stated, “I don’t believe in love. 100%. I believe love is a fallacy. It’s a scam.”

Despite his personal disbelief, he expressed respect for those who do believe in and experience love, wishing them well and acknowledging their choices.

“But the people who are in love, I don’t say that you’re doing something bad. I wish them well. And I respect their decision, that they’re being together and stuff,” he added.

Bigfish’s skepticism towards love stemmed from his observation of both historical and contemporary examples.

“It’s like religion. I take my time, I study it well, I make an opinion about it. Peer love, I study it well,” he said.

He pointed out that many marriages, particularly in the past, were arranged rather than based on love.

“Most of our parents’ marriages were arranged marriages. So there wasn’t love. And these are the ones that have lasted,” he observed.

In contrast, Bigfish cited the high rate of breakups among celebrities and those who publicly profess love as evidence supporting his viewpoint.

“When you look at celebrity gossip, you see many of them leaving and breaking up repeatedly,” he noted.

When asked if he would consider an arranged marriage, he firmly responded, “No, I’ll never marry.”

His viewpoint closely aligns with that of fellow celebrity Vera Sidika, who has also voiced her belief that marriage is a scam.

Just a few weeks ago, Vera reflected on her short-lived marriage to Brown Mauzo, stating, “This was 8 years ago. I always said I never wanted to get married. Don’t know what happened during COVID-19, but I’ve been there, and trust me: marriage is a scam! Never again!”
