Set it hitmaker Dyana Cods revealed that she is currently single and has set conditions that her future husband must meet to date and marry her.
During an interview with Radio Maisha on September 24, she stated that she wouldn’t require a dowry from her potential partner.
“Wherever I go, people expect to meet that bad girl image. But nimetulia, sina mambo”
She is single “Definitely, even now I’m single,” she said.
When asked why she isn’t dating, Dyana expressed her disappointment in men, stating that they have not met her standards, which revolve around traits such as loyalty, love, and intelligence.
“Nyinyi wanaume mmeangusha game. Levels haziko juu, hamjafika hiyo level hata sijawahi fika juu sana”
Like I said, I dont have high standards, my levels ziko chini, siulizi pesa, siulizi mahari. All I ask for is loyalty, love, and intelligence which is very important, number 1, “
why doesn’t she want to demand for dowry?
“I won’t ask. If I have refused why would my parents ask for it. Watauliza nini? ” she laughed.
She also continued to say she would fund the man’s lifestyle “Basically coz me unajua goals zangu in life ziko tu high, I am aiming for billions, so now I can’t blame you if you are not at that level. Nitakupokea ulivyo, bora ni mzuri”
Despite being known as “Bad Girl Riri,” Dyana affirmed that her public persona is merely for entertainment purposes and does not reflect her true self.
She stated that in real life, she is composed and drama-free and that her “bad girl” image is only for the cameras.
“In real life, nimetulia sina neno. That is an image only for a camera. That is for only entertainment purposes. Image ya good girl hai sell unlike that of an image of a bad girl.
Let’s just be honest, as much as we say oh you must be good, with a good character in music, vitu kwa ground inaonyesha watu wana taka bad manners.”
Her journey in music over the past five years has been amazing “I can’t complain coz there are those with difficult journeys. I have had support I really appreciate the support and those from Kenyans and other artists”
Her popular song Set It, continues to be received well by her fans.
She is fully booked “It has given me so many opportunities, I get calls from the most unexpected places. I never knew it would be like this”
