Marya annonces Mystery Man days after breakup.

On September 5th, Marya Okoth announced her split from YY Comedian, shocking many with her brief message:

“Hello and good morning. We are saddened to inform you that Marya Okoth and YY Comedian will no longer be together due to unavoidable circumstances. Thank you for your love and support throughout our union. We request privacy from everyone. Thanks,” the message concluded.

This statement was followed by a clarification that the breakup was not a publicity stunt, addressing rumours circulating on social media. 

Questions about the legitimacy of their split lingered, leading Marya to further address the speculation.

“I posted what I posted, I wrote what I wrote. We’re not clout chasers, and we’ve never been known for that. Him and I, we’re not the type to seek attention, and we’re not a special couple. Every couple goes through its ups and downs,” she explained. Since then, Marya has kept a low profile.

Two days ago, she caught her fans’ attention by sharing a photo in a red dress. This prompted many to ask if she had moved on, as her baby daddy reportedly has. 

In a playful exchange with Silva Kido, Marya appeared to brush off the comments. 

Silva Kido commented under the photo, asking in Swahili when she would “officially introduce” her new man.

“Huku tunapisha lini? 😂” Marya, the mother of one, responded, “@silva_kido toka hapa😂😂😂.” Not giving up, Kido prodded further, “@marya_okoth Hautaki witness? 😂😂 Tumuapishe kesho 9am?” Marya left that question unanswered.
