Written by on January 20, 2020

It is common knowledge that Kim Kardashian has been hell-bent in her criminal justice reform work. After famously bringing to light the plight of Alice Marie Johnson who had been jailed for a record 22 years for a non-violent drug offence,Kardashian has not backed down but instead continues to perpetuate similar kindness actions. As if that does not suffice, she typically brought the world to a standstill when she revealed that she was studying to become a lawyer.

It comes as a no-brainer that the reality TV star now has a documentary underway. The docu, titled Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project,is a partnership with Orange Network that will reportedly shed light on Kim Kardashian’s efforts to curtail mass incarceration, which has plagued America for years and will tackle the case of Alexis Martin,David Sheppard,Dawn Jackson and Momolu Stewart.

On the docu,Kim Kardashian quipped:‘’I partnered with Oxygen to do the ‘Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project’ documentary because there are millions of people impacted by this broken justice system, and I wanted to put faces to these numbers and statistics. There are a lot of people who deserve a second chance, but many do not have the resources to make it happen. I want to help elevate these cases to a national level to effect change, and this documentary is an honest depiction of me learning about the system and helping bring tangible results to justice reform.”

The documentary premieres April 5.
