Marvel’s most highly anticipated films ever, dropped the new trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on 3rd October 2022. The new trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever looks spectacular.

The trailer opens with Wakanda shown to be observing T’Challa’s funeral as his likeness watches on from a mural, with Angela Bassett’s Queen Ramonda leading the funeral procession, walking next to someone holding her son’s mask. We go back and forth between the funeral and scenes with Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, the ruler of Talocan, who we hear saying, “Only the most broken people can be great leaders.”

We then hear Winston Duke’s M’Baku describing Namor to the Wakandans: “His people do not call him do not call him ‘General’ or ‘King.’ They call him k’uk’ulkan. The Feathered Serpent God.” We then see Namor, with his angel wings fluttering, giving him the power of flight (just like in the comic books). “Killing him will risk eternal war.”

The action then shifts into high gear as Namor takes his throne and with a thump of his staff, declares war on the people on the surface. We see his Talocan warriors coming out on the surface, declaring an open war. M’Baku then highlights just how powerful Namor is as he informs his people not to call him general or king but the ‘feathered-serpent God.’

We then hear Letitia Wright’s Shuri saying, “He’s coming for the surface world.” Queen Ramonda then is heard saying, “We know what you whisper. They have lost their protector. Now is our time to strike.” We then see a brief scene of Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams in her Ironheart armor (inspired by Tony Stark’s Iron Man armor). And finally, we see a quick view of the Black Panther, clearly a female (many fans suspect that it’s Shuri).

Black Panther 2 is due to arrive in theaters on Nov 11, 2022.
