The 2019 AFRIMMA Awards Nominations Are Out; Did Your Preferred Stars Get A Nod?

The annual African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) nominations are out.  The arguably biggest Awards on the continent seek to recognise the biggest talent across the continent. Nigeria’s Burna Boy,rather predictably, leads the pack with a whopping 7 nods,closely followed by fellow country man Wizkid who scored an impressive 5! His massive Beyonce collab Brown Skin Girl earned him a Best Collaboration nod. Kenyan songstresses Victoria Kimani, Fena Gitu  and Akothee received a Best Female East Africa nod,while renowned video director Enos Olik received a nomee for Best Director, pitted against bigwigs like Nigeria’s Clarence Peters. Rapper Khaligraph Jones is nominated in the Best Male East Africa category,while Sauti Sol are set to be feted in the Best African Group category.
