While she may only be 8,it looks like Blue Ivy is following closely in the footsteps of her uber successful parents Beyonce and Jay Z. Even more interesting, she is also taking on the music route and hitting milestones while at it.

Blue Ivy featured on Brown Skin Girl on The Lion King’s soundtrack last year alongside mom Beyonce,Wizkid and John Legend’s son Saint John. The song debuted at #76 on the Hot 100 and even won an Ashford and Simpson Songwriter’s Award at the 2019 Soul Train Awards. She has vocals and a songwriting credits on the song.

At the just concluded National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Awards,Ivy scooped the Outstanding Duo,Group or Collaboration accolade for Brown Skin Girl. Beyonce also scooped Outstanding Female Artiste,Outstanding Album and Outstanding Track/Compilation Album.
