Lady Gaga’s ‘Chromatica’ Drops April 10

Written by on March 3, 2020

Lady Gaga’s much awaited 6th studio album is well underway. The Mother Monster’s new record dubbed Chromatica is slated for April 10th and will be a follow-up to 2016’s Joanne, the album that saw Gaga experiment with a more toned down sound and look,a deviation from her trademark over-the-top demeanor and sound. Gaga also confirms that this pink-hued image is not the actual album cover but ‘we made it for you to enjoy in the meantime.’

While it may have been almost 4 years since her last record,Gaga was hard at work on other projects. The most notable is obviously A Star is Born-the collaboration with Bradley Cooper that saw her snag an Oscar.

The first taste off of Chromatica is the just released synth pop staple single Stupid Love. If the track is anything to go by,Gaga is making an unapologetic retrograde to her overt, edgy aesthetic.
