Murungi Mwinyi – I have 16 piercings

Content creator Murugi Munyi is ending her year on a high note full of blessings and success all over.

She has moved her clothing store, landed brand endorsements, and is running an Airbnb, among other businesses. 

As a mother of three, she has been successful in her endeavours.

Her podcast TMI with friend Lydia Kim has also been recognised among the top shows in Kenya. 

There’s been a trending challenge to describe yourself and some fun personal details about yours.

The trend has been on almost every celebrity and social influencer, so it wasn’t a shock when fans saw Murugi had jumped into it.

Murugi on her Instagram stories chose to enlighten her fans and followers with a short synopsis of who she is.

“Get to know me,” she began.

Murugi listed her age, height, birthday, her favourite food and drink, we didn’t know she had unusual piercings with tattoos.

One of the most interesting details about her that we don’t know is that she has 16 body piercings.

“Tattoos – 5 of them, piercings – 16 of them.”

She defended her choice of fashion statement to a curious fan who wanted to know where they were placed.

“16 piercings, where,” with curious eye emoji.

The 33-year-old celebrity must have created a fan with private some of which she chose to share;

“For everyone who has asked this…I have seven piercings in each ear and then a nose piercing and a belly piercing.”

Body piercings are accessorized with some type of jewellery, charms, or some other kind of adornment.  Murugi doesn’t have any of this.

“Maybe 2024 will be the year I actually put earrings in all of them lol. Some of the ear ones I think are blocked by now.”
