KRG The Don has officially announced his retirement from the music industry.

He stated that he plans to shift his focus to more significant areas of his life and hinted at potentially running for a political seat in 2027.

The controversial artist made the announcement in response to curious fans who had noticed his recent silence.

“DM za Bughaa umenyamaza sana zimejaa sana,” KRG shared, acknowledging the many inquiries from fans.

He then clarified, “That phase of my life is done. Nimemalizana na entertainment, music shows, influencing, and controversy series. I enjoyed every single moment—from my online fights, vipindire, to embarrassing situations.”

KRG explained that his future plans include focusing on personal growth and exploring politics.

He expressed a desire to dedicate his time to “better things,” including his faith, family, business, and education.

As for his political ambitions, he mentioned that he will be preparing for 2026 when the campaign season kicks off, promising “siasa safi” (clean politics).

“My silence will be as loud as the noise was,” KRG said, before humorously adding, “For those with pending business, let’s meet behind the tent and settle things quietly so we can move forward with our bright future together.”

In his message to Kenyans, KRG expressed gratitude to his supporters: “To all those who supported the movement, Mungu aendelee kuwabariki, you are truly powerful people.”
