Profile Transfer Now Available On Netflix

Let’s say you and your personal person decide to call it quits (because this is Kanairo) and they decide to kick you out of their Netflix account and now you have to start afresh, losing all progress of your favorite shows, recommendations, downloads, and to top it off, you’re yet to move on. Worry no more because Netflix’s got your back.

The streaming giant today announced the new Profile Transfer Update that they say will help make life changes easier.  

“Profile Transfer makes it easy for anyone using your account to transfer an existing profile – including recommendations, viewing history, My List, settings, saved games and more – to a new account,” Netflix announced.

This update enables individuals on your account to transfer a profile – including recommendations, viewing history, My List, settings, saved games and more – to their own membership that they pay for. 

However, Payment information will not be transferred to the new account when transferring a profile. A payment method will have to be added by the person performing the transfer.

Netflix also clarified that PIN-protected profiles and Kids profiles aren’t transferable, not unless the PIN feature is removed for the former.

To access this feature, Sign in to your account, Visit your Account page and in the Settings section you’ll get this update.
