Tems, Kendrick Lamar Shine At The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards

The 17th BET Hip Hop Awards went down yesterday in Atlanta, GA with the big guns in the industry carrying the day as usual.
Kendrick Lamar was the biggest winner taking home 6 awards, including ‘Artist of the Year,’ ‘Lyricist of the Year,’ ‘Best Live Performer’ along with ‘Album of the Year’ for Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers while also sharing the ‘Best Hip Hop Video’ for “Family Ties” with Baby Keem and ‘Video Director of the Year’ with Dave Free.
Nigeria’s Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, was feted under the ‘Best Collaboration category for “Wait For U” with Drake and Future and in the Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse: DRAKE WAIT FOR U with Future and Drake.
