Maisha Motomoto Campaign.

Hotpoint Appliances Ltd launched their shop and win promotion dubbed Maisha MotoMoto, on 18th November 2020 and it recently came to a close on 17th January 2021. During this period, any customer who shopped Kshs.10,000 and above at any of their conveniently located retail outlets in Nairobi (Sarit, Garden City, Village Market, and Westgate) and Mombasa (Likoni and Nyali), was eligible to one entry to the draw. Those who entered the draw stood to win a grand prize of either a zero mileage VW Polo from DT Dobie, a Home Makeover, and an all expenses paid trip to Turtle Bay Watamu for four.

Why the Same Campaign.

The first Maisha Motomoto was held in 2019 and was well received by customers. An all expenses paid trip to Dubai, a Zero Mileage VW Polo from DT Dobie and a Home Makeover were the grand prizes during the first campaign.Due to the enticing prizes, customers continued to show enthusiasm for another shop and win promotion, despite the Covid -19 pandemic that had altered many Kenyans shopping behavior. This time round, Hotpoint made a few changes to the prizes. Their team carefully thought through the Home Makeover and ensured the winner would walk away with an item from each of the categories represented by the Hotpoint product line and brands. Due to the current travel restrictions, they also saw it best to give away a local trip to Turtle Bay Watamu, thereby making it easier for the winners to travel and at the same time promote local tourism.

Draws and Winners: The campaign constituted two draws. The first was conducted on 22nd December 2020 and was held at Sarit Your City. The monthly draw saw three winners walk away with three lovely hampers; one from Hotpoint, another from Nabico and the third from EAGM. Both of whom are Hotpoint’s local suppliers and their products are stocked at all Hotpoint retail outlets.The lucky winners of the first draw were:

The Second Draw was held on 22nd January 2021 at the Westgate Shopping Mall, where both the second monthly draw and the grand draw were conducted. Three lucky winners walked away with the second round of monthly prizes whilst three others got to walk away with the grand prizes. These winners are listed below:

The Award Ceremony will be held on Friday 29th January 2021 where all the winners will be officially presented with their prizes and a certificate of appreciation from Hotpoint to say ASANTE for choosing to shop with Hotpoint during the campaign period and all year long. The event will also be streamed live on the Hotpoint Facebook page (@HotpointKenya) to enable all to witness the prize giving.
