We just made the BIG,FAT reveal-Jamaican reggae maestro Mark Anthony Myrie alias Buju Banton will headline our annual NRGWave New Year’s Eve Festival on December 31 at Mombasa Sports Club.

The reggae superstar is one of the most prolific and utterly renowned music bigwigs in Jamaica. His 1992 album dubbed Mr. Mention became the best-selling album in Jamaican history upon its release. He has broken records previously held by Bob Marley and his 2010 album Before the Dawn won Best Reggae album at the 53^rd Grammy Awards. After being incarcerated in the US for 7 years,his December 2018 release was met with insurmountable anticipation-cum-excitement from fellow countrymen,as with every reggae fan the world over. Ever since,he has kept busy working on new music (grapevine has it he’s working with Rihanna on her upcoming 9^th studio album!)
