The Curve By The Park, The Perfect Staycation Destination.

Written by on March 22, 2021

Due to the Covid19 pandemic, travel restrictions are the new norm. This has lead to many people embracing staycations at hotels and Air BnB’s. If you’re thinking in the this direction then, The Curve by the park is the ideal place for you.

The hotel has a beautiful view of the city as it overlooks the Nairobi National Park. Located along Mombasa road the hotel is beautiful with a chic and modern feel to it with a contemporary design.

The curve is recommended and open to small families, friends or a solo staycation to unwind and relax. At the reception in the lobby, you are assigned a friendly assistant who will take care of you during your stay. Ours was called Carol. They take Covid19 safety measures and protocols very seriously with sanitization and strict measures on masks that Carol was gracious enough to tell us about.

They have one and two bedroom rooms. All rooms have king sized double beds and en suite bathrooms. We spent a night in a two bedroom spacious suite tastefully decorated in white and grey colors. The room was bright and airy with large windows overlooking the city. The bed was comfortable and impeccably clean. The room has all the amenities with a a full kitchen, a washer and drier, iron box, bathtub, Wi-Fi and TV.

A few things that stood out for me was their strong Wi-Fi signal that worked throughout the whole hotel. Their TV had access to everything inclusive of Showmax and Netflix carefully selected for children or adults. Another key highlight is their herbal body wash; it was just divine and I would highly recommend that you try it.

Free use of the spa area is offered to all guests at the hotel. It features a pool with a steam room and access to their fully equipped gym. Once you’re a member of the hotel , You can also book reservations to use their board room and work spaces for your conferences and board meetings. The hotel will provide fast internet, screen, writing material and food and beverages from their restaurants

Speaking of restaurants, the curve has three top tier facilities. The wave pool bar which is located in the pool area. They offer delicious food and special cocktails. You’re able to enjoy games on their screens or sit by the poolside and enjoy the view.

For a fine dining experience, visit the curve by the park restaurant on the ground floor. The friendly waiters are dressed in a dark red color that mixes well with the nude ambience of the beautiful space. The glass windows let in natural light creating a comfortable mood as you enjoy your lunch.

On the rooftop of the curve, they have the ‘Fifteenth Rooftop’ bar and restaurant. The space is chic and modernized with up to date furniture and interior design. Unfortunately we were unable to go in because we didn’t know that you had to call ahead and reserve. Be sure to call first and reserve a table or two before you go there due to the public demand that the space has received.

With all these great selling points, there’s absolutely no reason for you not to enjoy a night or two at the Curve by the park. Follow this link to book and have the time of your life; https://www.tsghospitality.co.ke/reservations/#/?pid=MTA5Mg
