Usain Bolt posted a photo of his family on Instagram on Father’s Day, sharing the names of his newborn twin sons ‘Saint Leo Bolt and Thunder Bolt’. The Jamaican sprint legend revealed that he and partner Kasi Bennett are now parents to twins; the post shows a family photo, with Bolt sitting next to his partner Kasi Bennett, their daughter Olympia Lightning, and the newborn twins.

Bolt 34, and Kasi 30, welcomed Olympia in May 2020 and had previously given us a glimpse that they were expecting in January 2020.  They, however, kept things undisclosed for their twins until today’s big Father’s Day reveal.  The couple has been together for six years. The dancehall music producer recently signed a lifetime partnership deal with Puma, according to his manager Nugent Walker.

Kasi, a businesswoman, wrote in Father’s Day message: “Happy Father’s Day to my forever love! @usainbolt.  You are the rock of this family and the greatest daddy to our little ones. We love you without end!”

In the surprise photos, Saint Leo Bolt and Thunder Bolt are cuddled in blankets and laid in baskets with big sister Olympia in the middle. The delighted parents of three sat behind their kids, with Bennett blossoming in a gold dress with floral accents and a plunging neckline. Thousands of congratulations poured in from fans and celebrities alike including Beenie Man, Wayne Marshall, Chris Gayle, Dre Island, and more.

Bolt retired from competition after the 2017 World Athletics Championships. His list of achievements in the sport is almost as long as his stride. There are eight Olympic golds – which also made him the first sprinter in history to win gold medals in the 100m and 200m at three consecutive Games – 11 World Championship golds and world records in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay that no athlete has since come close to touching.

Of his numerous awards, however, there is one that stands out well above the rest for the Jamaican, “Yeah I’m very proud of being the fastest man in the world, but it takes so much to do three back-to-back Olympic and win those, so for me I’m proudest of my gold medals.”

He might have broken world records and won numerous gold medals; but most of all, Bolt does enjoy being a Dad and a role model to his kids and seems to be enjoying his family fun moments.

We wish Bolt and Kasi all the best in their journey of parenthood.
