Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and David Raya shine in PFA Team.

While Arsenal may have fallen short in their quest for the 2023/24 Premier League title, the Gunners have plenty to celebrate.

Five of their standout players have been named in the prestigious PFA Team of the Season, highlighting the club’s remarkable campaign.

Arsenal’s representation in the team is the highest of any Premier League club, underscoring the strength of their squad.

The Arsenal stars who made the cut include goalkeeper David Raya, defenders William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães, as well as midfielders Declan Rice and Martin Ødegaard.

These players were instrumental in Arsenal’s strong season, with each playing a crucial role in the team’s success on both ends of the pitch.

Their inclusion in the PFA Team of the Season is a testament to their individual brilliance and the cohesive unit that Arsenal has become.

In contrast, Manchester City, who clinched the Premier League title, saw four of their players Kyle Walker, Rodri, Erling Haaland, and Phil Foden earn spots in the team.

Despite City’s triumph, it’s clear that Arsenal’s collective performance did not go unnoticed, as they managed to edge out the champions in terms of individual accolades.

However, the selection wasn’t without its surprises. Notably, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, who had an outstanding season with 16 goals and nine assists, was left out of the Team of the Season, sparking discussions among fans and pundits alike.

Other notable absentees include Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, Ruben Dias, and Josko Gvardiol, as well as Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes.

Despite the omissions, Arsenal’s dominance in the PFA Team of the Season offers a silver lining to a campaign that, while not culminating in the ultimate prize, showcased the team’s quality and potential for future success.
