BUSINESS MOGUL CHRIS KIRUBI DIES…

The chairman of Capital Group Limited has been confirmed dead by his family on Monday 14th of June 2021 after battling with cancer since 2016.

The news of his demise was posted on social media on Monday, June 14, by his family.. “Its with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Christopher J.Kirubi(1941-2021) who passed away today, Monday the 14th of June,2021 at 1pm at his home after a long battle with cancer. Fought with fortitude, grace and courage. He was surrounded by his family”

The billionaire was in and out of hospital, receiving treatment for cancer which includes being flown to the United States for a specialized treatment way back in 2017.

During his health battle Chris Kirubi said that

“One thing I have come to discover is that in the end,you are alone.Your friends may love you but eventually you have to deal with your sickness personally”

Few hours before his death the late Chris Kirubi tweeted,

At the time of his passing, he served as the director of Centum Investment, and the chairman of Capital Group Limited that owns Capital FM,a radio station based in Nairobi.
