Butita- “It’s not just about winning Sandra’s heart”.

In a recent interview with Obinna, comedian Eddie Butita was asked whether he would consider dating Thicky Sandra, the daughter of former Nairobi County governor Mike Sonko.

Sandra, known for her close relationship with her father, playfully raised the question, drawing significant attention from fans concerned about Butita’s response.

Butita, who has been single for a while, admitted he wouldn’t mind dating Sandra but expressed serious reservations due to Sonko’s notorious protectiveness.

Sonko’s commitment to his daughter’s safety is legendary he assigns bodyguards to her, monitors her phone, and tracks her every move to ensure she’s shielded from any potential threats.

Butita humorously described the situation, saying, “It’s not just about winning Sandra’s heart it’s about winning her father’s approval. Without it, navigating a relationship would be a challenge. You’re not only dating Sandra but also contending with her father’s intense scrutiny.”

He further elaborated on Sonko’s security measures, noting that even a simple meetup with Sandra would be thwarted by her father’s vigilant bodyguards who report back on her activities.

“I can’t even plan a date without Sonko finding out because his security team would definitely inform him,” Butita said.

Obinna teased Butita about potentially getting Sandra’s number to make a move, to which Butita responded with a laugh, suggesting that any attempt to date Sandra would require a clever strategy to evade Sonko’s watchful eye.

“If I were to meet Sandra, I’d need a solid plan to keep her phone out of sight to avoid being tracked,” Butita concluded.
